Have this. It works really well. Is powerful and makes good cuts. Battery life is limited though. Maybe makes 10-20 cuts depending on diameter before needing a recharge.

How does this compare to this Ego chainsaw? This is nearly half the price. Similarly though, the Ego battery and charger would also be at least as expensive if bought separately from the chainsaw.

I've had this and it's nice to have a small, portable chainsaw for cleaning up small limbs, etc. but I wouldn't say it's powerful. It does the job albeit slowly.

Bought 8 on 2 different accounts, as it limited you to 4 on each account. Easy flip on ebay, but I'll wait a few weeks to maximize profits.

I bought one then. It was worth that price. Works ok for small stuff occasionally. Chain speed is slow but cant expect much for that price. Also, the bat died in about a week. Called GW and after a few minutes of discussion they shipped a new bat.

If you own a cordless reciprocating saw just get some pruning blades (12" 5pi by Freud) they'll outperform a little battery chainsaw like this in almost every way (same battery as your dewalt/Milwaukee 18v tools, no bar oil, can cut roots in the ground, $20 for 3 pack)
