For 20 bucks, I'll bite. I already have a few of their batteries and a heat gun, but I don't have a battery-powered heat gun. Well, can't say that anymore...

Agonizing about whether to get this. I already have sunjoe 24v polesaw, one handed recip saw, pruner, power washer, light, inflator, and a gutter cleaning centric leaf blower. All of them are cheap and cheerful and still works fine, although I regret getting the gutter cleaner as its underpowered - as many say here you really need 40v at least for serious leaf blowing. I really should list that thing on craigslist. All the batteries work fine still and everything was cheap off of SD deals. I have never dealt with their warranty or customer service and can't vouch.

Heat guns use a *lot* of power -- I think my plug-in one uses 1500 watts? So with a 24v battery instead for the same performance, that's would have to be around 60 amps? Ouch.

I can't imagine this working very well, or if it does, for very long. (I imagine it uses a lot less power than 1500 watts.)

That said, I've got a number of Sun Joe tools, and so far I've been very happy with them. But I think I'll pass on this one.

They don't work well at all. I tried a cheapo like this and eventually a DeWalt 20v and both are practically useless.
