I have both sitting in front of me. Buds 2 pro have better noise cancelling and transparency mode. The sound signature is much flatter too. If you want bass, the Anker buds here are much better. The mics work better too, probably because they're closer to your mouth (thanks to the stem). Battery life on the Anker earbuds is a lot better too. I can get about 4.5 hours of noise cancellation on the Samsung buds, but a full work day with the Anker buds.

As for the fit, ymmv on this. For reference I have small ears and almost always need to use the smallest silicone tips. The galaxy buds feel less secure, but are much more comfortable long term. I wouldn't try much more than a brisk walk with them, definitely didn't work for the gym. On the other hand, the Anker buds feel secure as hell. I can do jumping jacks with these in.But the hard plastic bud shape isn't great and after a few hours my ears ache. But again, I have small ears. Most people are probably fine.

Oh last but not least, the Samsung buds app sucks. It needs all kinds of permissions to set them up and then if you remove those permissions after, it won't work. No idea why my buds need access to my calendar if I have Bixby turned off. Only comes with 5 different EQ settings and you can't customize them. Anker app is miles better. Don't even need to make an account and it'll still walk you through setting up a personalized EQ if you want. There's also 22 different EQ presets or a fully custom one if you want. Also Anker HiFi codec is a universal codec. The Samsung codec is proprietary so if you don't have a Samsung phone, you won't get high quality Bluetooth.

Sorry that got a lot longer than I anticipated. If you have any questions about either of them, lemme know

At this price, I would say it's the best buds you can get anywhere. Had these for almost a year after trying 5+ well review value buds, and these were by far the best option. Some highlights for me include:
Good app functionality and customization
Excellent ANC
Great microphone for calls/meeting
Multipoint support that's consistent
Good battery life

These sound great on iPhone already. But if you have an Android with LDAC support, you're in for an even bigger treat imo. FYI the Liberty 4 Pro's just came out and seem to be an upgrade since they have a tweeter unit on top of a standard driver in the speaker setup.

These sound good but I find them uncomfortable for long periods, 2 hours or more. Their app is good too, clean and easy to use

I'm a big fan of these and prefer them over the space A40 model. I was never one to walk around with headphones in before, but I get it now. These are comfortable and the battery lasts through my work day so I hardly take them off. The multipoint works well with my phone and desktop. Music sounds good to my untrained ear. If they broke in the near future, I think I would purchase a new pair immediately, deal or no deal. I might even snag a few now as Christmas presents

Just adding in case people don't know you need a music service that has high quality (ldac) level music. Otherwise the feature isn't necessary, just a nice to have

The difference in bandwidth is noticeable even with tracks on normal streaming services. Many hi-end phones have upscaling built in as well to bump up tracks at less than 32bit/384kHz resolution. You don't need a hi-fi service to be able to enjoy it

There must be something wrong with yours, I usually get around 8 hours of listening and call time
