People who want the flexibility of playing competitive games at a smooth 1080p 480Hz (Counter-Strike/Valorant/Overwatch)…while also having the convenience of a high resolution 4K at 240Hz for productivity and immersive/high fidelity games (Cyberpunk/Baldurs Gate/Red Dead).

It's basically like owning two monitors in one. Best monitor I've ever owned.

I was surprised by this too. I have the 27" 1440p version and its like 800 nits. This is pathetic

Me. I play FPS ranked games so the 480hz is wanted. People are saying it looks amazing.

I also play ranked fighting games, so the response time is wanted.

Only reason i'm not jumping on this is because there's a 1440p 480z monitor out there, but it's only 27".

Model? I just checked 4 1440p & they're 275 typical.

Prices are coming down actually. Compared to historic OLED prices, this is not too bad.

I wouldn't count on it. The monitor I wanted only _just_ came back in stock, after being in 2 months of backorder (Asus PG27AQDP)

I bought it as it fits what I wanted with fps gaming, playing high res single player games, watching 4K content and limited desk space with 2 monitors.

It's a nice monitor and works awesome. The switching between modes is just the press of a button. Only annoying thing is when switching and in discord or sometimes in game you just have to confirm you aren't switching audio device to the monitor.
