Some people believe that a short selling stock influencer revealed to Home Depot that Direct Tools was selling new tools as "factory blemished" and was thus forced to remove them. As if Home Depot wasn't well aware of Direct Tools all along and if that was the case, Ryobi would've been impacted as well. They are also still available in the physical stores.

In addition to some Makita and DeWalt, I have a lot of Ridgid, Milwaukee 12v, and a growing collection of Ryobi. Ryobi has come a long ways over the years and their newer brushless stuff isn't all that bad.

Wait for the Black Friday ad to come out.
Last year you could get a Kit with this same drill, plus an impact driver, 2 batteries and charger for $76. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../314109290

Code indicates it's for "almost everything" and lists "managers specials" as ineligible. When I add a blemished high volume inflator to cart it goes from $39 as listed to $52. It says the code was applied but takes $0 off of the $39 price. So I guess the listed price is already discounted?

Meh. The new 40v leaf blower I want is not eligible. Might as well buy for $10 more at home depot.

Got caught?

I have 14 Ridgid tools and they are such a very good value for the money. I couldn't bring myself to buy crap tools like Ryobi/Hart and couldn't justify spending so much more on Milwaukee. Ridgid is the sweet spot for me!
