Keep in mind, the Razer Kishi you linked is not compatible with iPhone 15/16, however the Backbone One is compatible with Gen 2, or with Gen 1 is compatible with an update, either by using an Android phone, or you can send it to Backbone to get a replacement with the correct firmware.

Just get any bluetooth controller with a 3d printed phone mount and it works the same while having a modern controller that will work on most other systems. It's in a similar price bracket anyways. Xbox, Playstation controller, or even the new gamesotp controller works just as well.

The Walmart near me has it for $99 but that might be the Gen 2 version. I can't tell from the box.

A good alternative to this is to buy a cheap tablet and cheap Xbox controller. I have a horrible A8 Samsung tablet but with Xbox games pass all the games are all ran in the cloud by Microsoft of dedicated servers. So it doesn't matter hor slow/shitty your tablet is. And you get a lot bigger screen and more comy controller than this backbone thing
