You do realize Nord is the only thing for sale here and you are offering a $5 gift card what someone paid $25 for right?

Honestly, while a VPN can add a layer of privacy, it's not the most secure option if you're extremely serious about online anonymity. For activities like torrenting and browsing anonymously, NordVPN is a solid choice at a decent price. They claim to keep no logs and are based in Panama, which has favorable privacy laws. However, it's hard to fully verify these claims. ExpressVPN, ProtonVPN, and Surfshark make similar no-logs promises, with strong privacy measures, but in the end, there's always a level of trust involved.

I used bitdefender last year for NBA League pass with okay results. Will this be better?
Works great with ESPN+ for hockey. Also works great accessing geo-locked Swedish TV shows (but that's an extreme edge case).

Anyone know of a non traceable VPN? There's some apps that I'm not interested in sharing my location with, but can detect the more popular vpns
Mullvad [mullvad.net] is one of the best VPNs out there. Constantly audited [mullvad.net] and updated. I've personally used it for many years.

How is it compared to WindScribe? I have WindScribe and overall, am very happy with it. There are tons of regions. I dont do torrents etc. so not sure how it is for that.

Just went to Mullvad website, and boy, it is childish in its UX but is also extremely slow to browse. ConfusedConfusedConfused

A security blanket provides a child with the comforting illusion of security, I assume that's the message you wished to convey.

An element of trust is an understatement. People really should make a thorough study of "VPNs" before signing up for any of them.

Anyone here came from PIA (private internet access VPN) service and joined NordVPN? I've been with PIA for a long while, d/l speeds are acceptable, they have worldwide servers to connect with, however, I really have a hard time getting around geolocations. For example, I connect to Australia site but still cannot get to Australian webpages to watch their online content.

Can I expect to get better results with NordVPN?

I have Private Internet Access through work for geolocating and I swear by Nord, frequently switching to my personal Nord account to get things done. Particularly the OSX app. Every time I open it after a reboot or not using it for a while, I just get a loading screen and have to wait for it to fail, then click to reinstall it. Nord overall has been far snappier and I think has more locations, but don't quote me on it.

I see. I only want it for a few websites that get disabled once I'm away from the USA or my home for that matter. No clue why the rules are so strict on this websites, but it's annoying and I want to bypass it once I'm away from home.
