These are always on sale - I picked up the 10k "slim" model for about $11 after coupon last month, same ports and similar specs (other than size and capacity) and it's been working nice. One of the nicer cheapo battery banks I've had, no issues to date. I like the screen and USB C charging. Wouldn't have any issues picking this up for the price, but the MSRP is pretty inflated

As a public service, I wanted potential buyers of this to be aware that there are well over 100 of these available "used"! It actually states "164" on the Amazon product page! I got tired of counting at around 110! It seems that there's a ton of returns on this thing (hence the large quantity of "used" ones), yet mostly positive reviews! Many of the "used" ones claim "damaged packaging". These days, almost everything Amazon ships ends up with damage packaging (thanks to their sloppy packing and shipping practices)!

Regardless, they're still returns! If it were such a good product, why are so many being returned and offered as "used"? How will you know for certain if the one you purchase (which is supposedly "new") isn't actually a very clean, undamaged return?
Sorry for my skepticism, but this is a third-party seller and it really smells bad! I don't recall ever seeing 164 "used" items listed on Amazon!...especially with mostly positive reviews! I'd suggest avoiding this product!

For anyone looking at this, remember that many laptops will simply refuse to charge from anything that's < 60w outputs ... add to that that even Samsung phones now can charge at 45W peak, unless you're on a super tight budget, I'd spend the extra 10 bucks to get one that's capable of 60+W.

One month (or so) of use can't determine the reliability of these type of products.

Have had mine for 18 months now. Great when we were traveling in Europe. One charger for the whole family to top up our phones to get us through the day.

FWIW, I've bought a battery that looks very similar to this but with a different company. It worked for 1 year and suddenly refused to charge/discharge.

Just a one-guy anecdote: I inherited this from someone else at my job so I have no idea the age but it performs excellently. I like that it can both charge and be charged via USB-C. My pixel 8 charges pretty quickly with it. I mainly use this with a little Bluetooth receiver to play stuff on my home stereo receiver and when I occasionally need to use a someones phone for input with my amateur DJ setup. It lasts a very long time, the display is useful, and it even has a little LED light on it.

It is heavy though, but the plastic has a nice soft texture and overall casing feels solid. For $15 I would not hesitate.

Very true, bought this on other recommendations of the brand (with longer use); just sharing my experience on both pricing and quality of life usage. I've had other battery banks that were misleading from the start, with very slow charging (of the device and phones) and wonky ports that would frequently cut out or stop charging, this one had neither. The % display is also much nicer than the "LED Dots" that some others have.

I think you're reading way too much into nothing... The thing has 43k ratings. With that kind of volume of sales, 164 recent returns is nothing.

Kept hearing this battery was wonderful for the Quest 2 headset, so in for one.

The Quest 3 VR headset draws even a bit more, so you want a battery with PD (supports 5V, 9V, and 12V) and 18-20W seem to be the sweet spot for keeping the headset charged, as long as nothing has changed, so this battery should be perfect for it! People debate if you need a 10k or 20k battery (because of weight), but since I use VR for many hours sometimes, I went with the bigger one. I heard Quest 3 headsets really drain 10k batteries quickly as well.

I believe this one got discounted since a new slightly lighter version came out (309g vs 363g, so 54g heavier), but even for VR I think that's a really small difference. I plan to use it as a counterweight, but some people will keep it in their pocket.

my lightning port just broke so I was torn between getting a MagSafe cable or battery... on one hand I don't wanna charge the battery everyday, but the cable is just as annoying. For the car I guess the cable would make sense, seems like third party support is lackluster for MagSafe.
