I ended up exporting the printer.cfg file I created with the Sonic Pad and imported it to my Raspberry Pi after installing MainsailOS. It was essentially plug and play. All my problems immediately went away. The best part is that I can do regular software updates at will. I highly recommend MainsailOS which is a preconfigured distro with Klipper, Moonraker, etc. preinstalled. It's available via the regular RaspberryPi OS installer under 3D printer menu. Oh and the same USB webcam got 15FPS. Not having a dedicated display wasn't as cumbersome as I initially thought. I just use my phone with the web interface to do my usual 3D printer tasks.

The fact that it works fine with files <30MB indicates there's some inherit bug in the dependencies the latest build pulled in. I shouldn't have to do anything different to upload and print files depending on the file size. In the time domain, only prints lasting longer than ~20 hours cause errors.

Like I said earlier, I just wanted something "plug and play" that runs Klipper and was happy to pay for the convenience. If I'm going through the effort of setting it up from scratch, why wouldn't I just use hardware I have lying around and save myself $90?
Also where you buying a new Ender 3 V2 for $75? If you already have a Pi just laying around why would you buy one. but for people that don't have a Pi just laying around and people that have a 3D printer and want to move to Klipper $75 is a cheap option! By the time you buy a Pi, a case, power supply, SD card and a screen it is easy to get past the $75 point! I have a Pi in a mini bartop arcade and the 10 inch screen ( not even touchscreen which you would want for Klipper) was more than that by itself.

Your messages definitely do not come across the way you intend it. Everyone can read fine, but we can also read between the lines. The tone of your messages implies that I should do more to make the product work instead of returning it. Here's how I (and probably others) interpret it:
"user error, I have been using it for 2 years and works fine."
Coming off strong initially as dismissive. Just because it's working fine for you for 2 years doesn't mean new users will have the same experience. Software bugs can manifest if I went through a different workflow than you during the initial setup. Not to mention the device is running a different firmware version at setup time than when you set yours up 2 years ago. IIRC the new setup wizard as of a month ago has a different order than a YouTube review dated a year ago. It looks like they took the feedback and fixed this error: https://youtu.be/EkRj0HA30rI?t=2
"weird that you had to go get a Rasberry Pi as a software engineer." (emphasis mine)
Instead of debating the merits of the product as most people will use it out of the box and the way Creality likely intends by advertising it as plug and play, the above sentence's tone reads as if you're more concerned about my decision to resort to a Raspberry Pi instead of trying harder to get the sonic pad to work. I definitely interpreted it the same as @conan1201 and thought, "but I shouldn't have to..." It was also odd to me how personal it sounded, I was curious if you were a Creality employee or someone with a financial stake in the success of the product. Instead, let me slightly rephrase your post to change the tone while conveying what you said you intended to convey:
"For future reference, the Sonic Pad is unlocked now and supports installing Debian and mainline Klipper should you need to. I didn't do that I am running stock but it is an option available to you." This sentence comes off a lot less condescending and keeps the topic focused on the product in question instead of my decision to resort to a different solution.
I already mentioned to Creality the bugs I experienced. But if you're feeling generous, they'd probably fix the bug faster if more people report it as well. Please install the latest firmware, factory reset your device, and go through the setup wizard again. When I was debugging the issue, I could see a small handful of people reporting this problem as well.

When did your even buy and try the Sonic Pad? Did you buy one 3 years ago try it and return it only to come bash it on Slickdeals 3 years later after who knows how many updates have been sent out? I can see how you would have issues getting your Sonic Pad working, you probably intrepreted and read between the lines of the instructions based on their "tone"
Funny because a deal that beats a frontpage deal from less than a month ago with 28 TU is, at this moment, 2 TD.
SD is for deals. You don't like it. Move on.
But if you wanted to try a Sonic Pad for the lowest investment possible, not buying used, with a return policy this was your chance.
But now they've raised the price to match the previous deal.
