Funny that you're not taking account the $5.95 fee per $100 card!!! Not sure what 5% category Chase Freedom you're referring to, but if it's supermarket related, you WILL NOT earn that 5% by buying through the giftcard portal.

He mentioned that he paid with PayPal, so should get the 5%. But yeah, the $6 or so fees kills this deal unless you can use 4x fill ups before the end of November. I barely drive due to wfh, so the can use 1x fill up at most every month.

Edit: Nevermind. The visa gift cards are 5% off, and another 5% back in UR points by using Chase/PayPal. Decent deal if you can use the fuel points and are able to liquidate the GCs.

After using code OCT2024 the Total pay is $1009.5 from my card.
Here is what I got:
Visa gift cards: $100x10=$1000
Chase cash back: $50
Fuel points (x4): 4000 point (4 times $1 off fuel, up to 35 gal each time).

I treat is as roughly (or more) 10% off visa card depends on how you calculate the points value.

i bought 10 in one purchase and save $50 instantly. Kroger might have a limit how many cards you can buy but it is definitely more than 10.

Kroger gift card charge does not show up as supermarkets/groceries.

FYI: I got one and it didn't have a cvv number. So not worth it due to time loss.
