They seem to both use the same panel technology. Maybe since they're refurbished they're using different part numbers

Would this be good to run at 1440P at 160hz? Or better to just get a native resolution monitor for that?

The price is tempting, but I am reluctant to buy a refurbished monitor, especially from Acer, who can't seem to get the stock picture right. Repacking and returning a monitor is a pain.

I've read that the scaling is a bit off when run at 1440p unfortunately. So if your GPU can't handle 4k resolution, you might lose out a bit in picture quality if you need to drop resolution in exchange for FPS.

I've purchased several Acer refurbs, and also needed to return a couple. Their outbound packaging is abysmal. Their return policy is fine, but a hassle that you need to do it in the first place.

I think I'd like this monitor, if only I could get one guaranteed delivered without shipping damage (or without a piss poor refurb job before they send it out).
