not the best for outdoor work as people say even with the glasses on this red laser gets lost after 20 ft. This is a great price!

Yup, not going to work in the day but I've had success using these near dusk or after dark. They were visible at least 400ft away at night. Only used it to level a few mobile home pads for personal use (rentals) so if it's not an every day thing, they have their uses. Especially if you already had one for the inside.

Yes and I saw this I really wanted something like this, but it's out of stock by time I check. I would like one that has device that beats whenever it's on line with the laser so it could be attached to a grade rod...
