For all cellphones Activated with TracFone service on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, the cellphone will be remotely unlocked automatically, sixty (60) days after Activation.

Maybe use another Web browser?
I went with Total for two Edge $135 total with one month service, $65 (first) + $30 (second) + $40 (taxes). Just needed the phones to unlock after 60 days.
I know Motorola /Lenovo is not that great with updates but recently they have launched phone with guaranteed updates for 5 years or so ...
Can someone with personal experience chime in ?
Not great of course anywhere near MSRP, but not really an issue if you get one on the cheap with deals like this, total, metro etc. Still a great phone for the money despite the update period.
If not will the unlock work on a phone line which is not acitve for 11 months ?
That's why I suggest you port in a disposable number.

My concern was with all personal data that can get hacked after the lack of updates.
Someone said their Moto phone never gets hacked.
Is this an issue or is there other security on Moto phones (Google, chrome, etc)

Porting a number usually requires an active number so you'd need to do it before your service expires.
