Which Network Straight Talk is using?
- She didn't think this can be unlocked (That's ok. I don't think it's common knowledge)
- She didn't know anything about activating this in store. She was scanning the product and plan and somehow I was being asked to pay for both (249.99+130).
- When I asked about activating, she was forwarding me to employee from WSP, who was not at-store.
All in all, pretty weird experience. Any step by step guide on how to buy this from Walmart?Just putting this out there for others for no one expects waiting "limbo" till someone is in it. *nervous laugh*
figured I would share anyway for the goal with my plans was to unlock before holidays and travel and that is 60 days away.

The last Walmart I went to had the phone and the person to be able to activate the phone. They have to scan both phone and extended silver unlimited 3/mo activation plan. Here Are The Steps and Information needed. ( per your request )
This was the 4th store. This time it Finally worked.
My sister was bugging about this deal. She really wanted it. But she wanted it from the walmart store not online.
What you are buying :
1. straight talk moto edge 2024 5g, 256gb storage (in lime green box) cost $249.99 ($250)
2) straight talk silver plan multi-month plan card ( the card has 3, 6, and 12 month plan) on one card. (tell salesperson you want the 3 month plan) cost $130
must be a store with a WARP Register (a register that can activate phones) located in the electronics section
The first 3 walmart stores rang up the order on the Regular Cash Register. and it just added $250 + $130 = $380 + Local Sales Taxes. So $380 + $27 (7% Tax) = $407 aka deal didnt work
At the 4th store, i told the guy about the StraightTalk online promotion ... Free Moto Edge 2024 COMBO Activation DEAL. (maybe the ACTIVATION word did the trick.
He left the regular register and took the phone and Straight Talk Silver multi-month service plan card over to the WARP REGISTER . (the activator)
INFO NEEDED: (got a new number)
first name,
last name,
email address (email must be legit)
zip code ( for new number)
Cash Money or credit card ( i used cash since i was buying phone for my sister) Took $200 just to be careful.
Basically whats happening is #1 Setting up the StraightTalk Account ... fnane, lname, email and #2 Activating the phone with the 3 month plan.
After finding the promotion using the WARP REGISTER AND entering the INFO i provided ... the WARP REGISTER spit out 3 sheets of paper.
The salesperson asked me for $157 ( $130 for multi month plan and $27 ** local sales tax = $157.
** yes, you pay full tax on the free $250 phone plus the $130 3-month service plan. $380 x 0.07 (7% tax) = $27
i handed him the cash, he handed me the phone, the two sheets of printer paper, and the receipt. put in small plastic bag.
NOTE! VERY IMPORTANT ... YOU MUST LEAVE WITH THE 2 PRINTER PAPER SHEETS. + ONE sheet MUST CONTAIN THE PIN NUMBER (YOUR ACCOUNT PIN NUMBER. and a Sales Receipt.
Sales guy said the service was already activated but might take up to 3 hours to fully work.
took less than 30 minutes to complete the purchase.
I walked out the store, showed my receipt, smiled and went to Wendys cause I needed Frosty to celebrate.

In my Straight Talk account, it had the red notification dot under "manage lines" It has a dropdown now of my normal line (with phone number) and "new" line that shows a 15 digit IMEID.
So hopefully I can get the 3 months service added to my normal account without a bunch of hoops to jump through. My monthly cycle has 23 days left though, so I don't want to risk losing that yet. So either the phone cost me $144, or it was "Free" since I'm keeping straight talk, but I'll find out eventually!
