All models have a somewhat smallish battery that means middling overall battery life. They also ship with a screen that is ... fine, I guess. It's 16:10 (up from 16:9 in previous models) and I believe slightly outperforms it's rated at 300nit brightness, but not to the point where it can reasonably be used outside. The color gamut and contrast ration is not great either - good enough for office use and web browsing, but I wouldn't want to edit anything on it.
For less than $400, with a 2-year Allstate warranty, I'd say this is it, Chief, for a solid yet unremarkable laptop.

Anybody have any comments on 300 nits for the display?
Edit: clearly some people didn't catch the (dry) humor.

A few weeks later it's much cheaper or there's a sale for a better model at the same price !
