If you don't need the AX wifi, get a Dell Edge E42W 620 on ebay, for ~$80.More ports, more RAM, more disk, x86, will run any Linux, or x86 firewall, including OpenWRT.
You sent me down a rabbit hole. The 620 doesn't exist at the $80 price tag really anywhere on the internet. It's too bad. It looks like a sweet device.

Yeah.
The seller I had bookmarked on eBay sold the 40+ units they had.

Yeah, it looks like the 610 is only 2-core and 1g SFP while the 620 bumps up to 4-core with an SSD and 10g SFP. The 610 really doesn't look worth bothering with unless you just never plan on upgrading your network or need something stupid cheap NOW.
Looking for a router with MAC filtering in whitelist mode (deny all default) that can be configured via phone app or cloud. Need to be able to approve devices without being in front of a PC to log into the router. Does FESTA allow this (Omada did not)?

What you want is a Firewalla (brand name, not a generic term) but they're not cheap. That being said, every device can be put in quarantine and you have to manually approve them. You'll get a notification in the app and you can whitelist it wholly or you can move it into a group that's still somewhat locked down or something. It's an incredibly powerful and easy-to-use device and they have several models that might work for you. I have a Firewalla Gold and it's the single best network device I've ever purchased.

Just to add one more thing, their support is absolutely INCREDIBLE. They're extremely active on reddit and even on Facebook and I had one issue with running a docker container on my Gold that kept filling up a partition and they logged in remotely and told me how to fix it. Literally supporting something they actually say isn't even within their scope of support (the devices support docker, but they've always said it's at your own risk).
