I don't wish to start a holy war, but is AT&T better than T-Mobile for MVNOs? In other words, is their transition going to suck? Also, after the 6 months is up, what is the price per month afterwards? Anyone with exp with Lyca in northern California?

Another "new" Lyca thread.
Check past threads about Lyca and their horrible business practice of taking your number hostage.

Keep tabs in the app. I made sure to migrate a couple days before the end. Remove your payment method, also.

Had them years ago and it was a pain to get them to send me my Account # and port out Pin. Is it better these days?

I know. They are switching to AT&T.

Lycamobile settles with T-Mobile, reportedly heads to AT&T

https://www.lightreading.com/busi...?ref=NWIDA

"Lyca Mobile said it settled its legal battle with T-Mobile, but details were not released. Separately, a report indicates that Lyca may shift its US MVNO operations from T-Mobile to AT&T over the next year..."

My current prepaid card from another carrier expires in Mid Dec. If I buy this, can I delay activation to mid Dec? Does the plan allow hotspot? Thanks.

I do know it allows hotspot, as I had it last year. Not sure on how long you can hold the activation. i think it is 30 days.
