Deal History
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
Just FYI, Staff uses tools which crawl the internet looking good for sales. When high percentage discounts pop up, human eyes go over them. Good deals that are able to be replicated using a referral link are then posted as a new topic. Just pointing out that a staff-posted deal doesn't automatically mean it's a paid-for sponsored deal.

Just FYI, Staff are paid by Goldman Sachs that now owns this page. When a company wants to promote a product, they can use Slickdeals to promote it and give a commission to Slickdeals. Sometime their posts are good values, many times they aren't. In this case, these exact cables go to this price very often. It is a "sale" price, but certainly not a deal.
Anker cables are usually great. These aren't. Bought a pair and used them with various reliable 20 and 30 watt chargers from Apple and Belkin. My iPhone 15 Pro Max would indicate charging for a bit and without warning, the iPhone would stop charging for no reason and seconds later, the charging chime would ring and the green battery indicator would display. This kept cycling so I thought maybe it was the charger. Nope. Different charger-same problem. I never bothered to check the second cable because what's the point? If one is defective, they both have to go back anyway to get a refund. I could have played sleuth and tried a different iPhone (my wife's) but again, what's the point? If it doesn't work with my iPhone, it doesn't work for me.
I have a Dell laptop that charges via USB C. I'm a field worker so my office is my work truck. I have an inverter that outputs 65W power delivery via USB-C but I have tried several cables (including ones rated for 240W) and the laptop won't charge and says to use the factory charger block (factory Dell charger outputs 65W). I'd like to eliminate the bulky factory Dell power block from my truck and just charge via USB-C from my inverter since I need the other 120V outlets on my inverter available. Any suggestions?

The charger matters. I'm wondering if your power inverter is not good enough. Dell laptops are very picky with the charger too. I've had to try several kinds for just simple home charging. Usually Anker chargers work fine.
You need an inverter or can you run a 12v charger?

Eragorn probably posted it because it's been voted to the front page before; since people usually can't wait to buy cables the best recent price is worth posting. It's true that members often post the most exciting deals, while staff post the best of the day and do work with some partners, but SD is most successful when people are happy with the deals they find here.

I've used cheap no name brand cables and they charged my various USB C laptops without issues. I've used them with an Insignia 100 W charger without issue with my work Dell laptops. Maybe try a USB C wall charger and see if the problem still happens with the same cables you've used. I know that doesn't really resolve your issue of avoiding a bulky power block, but just worth a try for experimenting sake so you can figure out if there's an issue with the USB C port on your inverter.

I definitely need an inverter as I need 120v to charge the lithium batteries for my equipment.
So a 12v charger is not an option as the 12v plug is occupied by the inverter.
What do you recommend, a minimum 100w power delivery 120v USB C wall charger to plug into the inverter?
