After porting verification (visible emailed about porting was requested), credit card also posted the 35$, Metro says at the very final stage:

Call them but they have no clue and very hard. 1st person (after 40 mins hold) Transferred me to porting department who also do not have any clue (and cant speak english properly as well). After 1.5 hours of further wait, porting department person asked me to retry after 24 hours because some error occurred on metro side which she was not able to explain at all.
