So whoever is getting "not eligible to add a line" for the 3rd line, if I call the metro cs number, will they remove the restriction? Sorry, I am not sure if this was asked before

Thanks I was able to get to the plan using the pervious link shared by another user.

The chat with CS was the worst part of the whole process.

if you see this: Sorry, you are not eligible to add a new line. Please contact support to discover the reason for ineligibility. 1-888-8metro8

make sure you don't have pending order before making new order

I started getting this after I ported a line out of my Metro account (as I wanted to keep the number) and then tried to add a new line (which resulted in the "Sorry" message at the last step of check-out). I guess it looks sus if you port out a line and them immediately try to add a new one.

The messed up thing is that it seems to have blacklisted the new line that I was trying to port-in, as it won't pass the "Check this number" check even if I'm not logged into any Metro account. So if I want to try to add another line to my other Metro account, I'll have to get another Visible number.

It'll reset after an indefinite amount of hours once the system reconciles that the pending order didn't go thru.

The port-out only took a few minutes, I got notification from Visible and verified that calls to that number were to the phone with the Visible eSIM. The number also disappeared from my Metro account.

Are you using different names and billing/shipping addresses for each of your Metro accounts? Wondering if I should just bite the bullet and try creating a new Metro account.

same name and billing address, just different emails. MAYBE I should change the address...

Tried to get second account opened with a different visible number, using different email, credit card and address as well.. the order didn't went through and asked to call customer care in last step.

Now that my first order is delivered and activated, I tried to add second line using same visible number that got failed and now it says "unfortunately, this number can't be transferred. Try another number or choose a new number to continue".. anyone else faced this issue?
