I understand that the phone is locked for a year, but was wondering if it could be used for international carriers, or would that be completely locked as well?

update: I refreshed page many times after receiving/activating 1st phone trying to add line. It let me, but then after paying order it said could not verify security reasons. It put pending charge on my credit card. I called and they cancelled port. Still will not let me add second line. this is a lot of trouble.

also now my visible transfer is all messed up. i tried changing number with chatbot which it did, but it wont send pin for transfer anymore.

i guess on 1st go around of adding second line i should not have immediatly changed visible number on receiving error of order completion

Same error here but I'm trying to order 4th phone. I guess metro starts tighten it up only one phone per account.

Once you hit the limit of 5 lines per account you can call and cancel some lines (avoid cancelling the first) and continue adding new lines with 12s attached as long as the account is still active (72h extension included.) If you are getting rejected orders ("Unfortunately can't complete your order online") then you should make sure you are using different cards and also giving your real phone number when ordering instead of the one Metro autofills since they are checking that.

Locked, period. SIM lock isn't domestic only. Anywhere on earth and maybe other galaxies.

Damn, so Metro cut off the Google voice # loophole and instead of 6 months, they locking the phone for a whole year. That's some BS.

1st phone got delivered and activated, I placed order for 2nd line (13 instead of 12) and have a confirmation email that says "we've received your metro order" do I wait to order the 3rd and the 4th line before activating and opening the box for the 2nd one that's not yet shipped?
