Your question is pretty much your answer. If you have an iPhone locked to Xfinity, why would it work on another provider like Visible.

What happens when you do an IMEI check on Visible website for your Xfinity phone?

Both run on VZ network. See if it will work first before you try purchasing from Visible.

Never mind. Looks like my visible account was not activated properly. Tried a reboot etc and made sure it's active and voila worked like a charm.. now wait for phone so I can do second line..

1st line.. getting this message.. just got a new number from visible. should wait for 24 hours? any help is appreciated. tia

When I enter the GV no to check if that can be transferred it says Your BANDWIDTH.COM/1 Mobility number can be transferred to Metro!

Does it create an issue during the process of transfer or they now support GV no transfer?

Yes but full discount doesn't apply.

Can't order any tablets now

May port another number to go back down to 4 and then try another iPhone

It's been a nightmare. Been trying to add a second line for days. It keeps erroring out on the website, and they keep canceling the port, and i have to wait 24 to try again. None of them can do it or fix it. I have 4 pending $35 charges from the failure. One guy even tried to create it as a seperate account then merge it i didn't approve that and now they're forcing me to go in store to fix it.
