Visible online chat should let you change your phone number -- automated chat system should be able to do it without a rep and it shouldn't cost anything

I'm trying to purchase a second iPhone12. I now get a message that my account is not eligible to add a new line. I've been back and forth with Metro for five days. They tell me I have to open a new line to get this deal, which will cost me $75 instead of $35. It clearly states on their website that a current Metro Flex Plus plan customer is eligible for up to 2 lines with this deal. What gives?

No, I even talked to a supervisor. They don't want to honor what is explicitly stated on their website.

1) When does this offer expire? never bought a phone plan before so I have a lot of questions, reps to useful answers.

2) i'm supposed to choose the $70 plan? When I click on it I don't see this offer detailed. Will I see the offer in the cart? how many phones, extra lines are you able to add now? but you have to wait for your first phone to arrive?
3) are these prepaid plans monthly fee higher than non-prepaid? But I guess those required contract?
4) why would others want to pay 200 or so for a year locked phone? Seeing as some reselling
5) Will they have these kinds of offers for larger sized iPhones?
6) So absolutely no way to unlock before a year?
7) additional phones require each a number to port?
8) So voip numbers used to work and then they put an end to it? (When you could port a gmail number, then you can no longer use that number on Gmail?) initially entering a voip# did not reject adding it to cart
9) any other cheaper iPhone deals I should look at? nothing better than this?
10), what cheaper phone services are you guys preferring to use it on
*11) what if you already have an old phone on T-Mobile(not prepaid plan), can you replace that old phone with this one, and do the switch like a month or so later?

I was stuck at no add a line button for a while, it turned out that there was a porting request in my account, once I called the # to cancel the port in request, I saw add line button appear and able to order 3rd phone.

1) When does this offer expire?
2) So originally this offer could get you two phones for $75 plus $35 twice? Or an extra $35? But definitely no longer?…
3) So how many people are buying these just to use on T-Mobile or to wait a year for it to unlock and use elsewhere? I assume it can be used on Wi-Fi during that time? not with a phone number…
4) why were people getting so many, is there a good market for those who want to buy year locked phones? Or who want to use it on T-Mobile? What is the going price for these phones on resale market?
5) it's brand new with 100% battery life? Will they have these kinds of offers for larger sized iPhones?
6) So absolutely no way to unlock before a year?
7) If I were to port a number from another carrier and then cancel T-Mobile after a month?, Can I re-port that exact number back to my original carrier or another carrier?
8) So voip numbers used to work and then they put an end to it? (When you could port a gmail number, then you can no longer use that number on Gmail?)
9) any other cheaper iPhone deals I should look at? nothing better than this?
10) so what is the total lowest prices you could get for Using this phone at T-Mobile, what other phone services are you guys preferring to use it on

I called the port in dept and all the previous port in attempts have all been cancelled. I got so frustrated and ended up opening a new account and paid $75 for the second iP12.
