It will not have any impact on unlocking countdown. The phone will be unlocked after 365 days.

They completely screwed up my porting 2nd line about 4 times, and now their system shows the number as not elligible for port. I'm tempted to get a new visible number but afraid the same thing will happen again.

*Requested number change from visible. Had to call them to assist updating new esim for new number since i'm unable to recieve their emails on the account email for some odd reason. New number is valid for port. Iphone 12 and 13 out of stock.. damn it.

I can confirm moving eSIM works fine using Metro app installed on Metro iP12 -- followed this:

Moved Metro iP12 eSIM to an unlocked iP11 then moved another Metro iP12 eSIM to an unlocked iP13

Took both Metro phones to Apple Store -- traded one for $155 Apple GC and trade other for $180+tax refund towards recent online purchase ($499 M4 Mac Mini shipped from Apple edu store)

I got a $5 Visible number for strictly porting in to get this deal. So it doesn't matter what happens to the number in 30 days when the account expires. I had trouble getting my order to go through and I had to speak with the Metro porting department to clear out my number to try again. I ended up placing my order through Metro's chat. Provided them a one time use virtual credit card number. Phone should be here next week. Planning on using it to upgrade on my TMobile account.

I've moved lines twice. The first time was to an unlocked non-Metro phone and it wasn't letting me complete it online. I had to call into cs and have them do it. I actually had to call 3 times because the first 2 agents woudn't waive the $25 fee.

The second time I moved a line to another Metro phone. This Metro phone had not been activated previously as I had kept it sealed. The original line for this phone was actually the line that I moved away above. I wanted to move a line to this phone so that I could activate it in order to trigger the unlock timer. Anyways, I was easily able to do the move for this line myself online.

Dang, the website would not let me switch devices no matter what phone I tried. Did not try via Metro App though. Oh well, too late, already traded them in.

I just tried adding a new line for $35 this morning and after checking out, it gave error and said to call metropcs. I called and they said my number was stuck porting in. So I then had visible give me a new number to port and I do not have an option to add a new line. If anyone knows how to resolve, please PM me!

Port dept number in wiki -- call them and have them cancel the pending port for the failed order

Can't add a line if pending port or pending order in their system

The good news, the phone came back in stock this morning. The bad news, even after changing the port in number, i still get the error. Calling in for hours with tech support, they basically said the promo for the phone, doesn't stack with the $35 add a line, and the reason my order isn't completing is because im trying to add a line and do the port in promo. Which i tell them not only others are doing it fine, but also that it shouldn't show me the phone promo when i click add a line if thats the case. I'm better off trying a new line and eating $35 to get the phone at $70, So not as good as 70 + 35 + 35 + 35 like others, it'll be just $70 a pop for me for some reason. Is anyone else still able to add a line $35 and get the Iphone 12 port in promo ? Or did they disable that for everyone ?

Just tried a new line still won't complete order. They must have blacklisted my address or card, and they just won't say which or what. I'll try again when they release the port number on a different address and card.

If you are ready to do a new line, better order via their phone support. That will go through instead of dealing with online order hitting security issue (will be 75$ though)
