Sometimes it seems like the stranded development cycle is 1) create cool game idea 2) add guns and blood 3) profit. I appreciate games that can avoid step 2. (Nothing against shooting games, but not all games need it. I don't need guns while playing mini golf, going on roller coasters, or in racing sims.)
