this price makes no sense. $99 on sale. when you just plug a cable in to base instead of the headset. the controllers don't really run out of battery that fast. I dunno. I feel like $50 or even $75 would be ok "ish".

Can buy decent china knockoffs off Temu/Aliexpress for like under 20 bucks. Works the same, looks decent.

I bought this at launch, it was a "nice to have" quality of life improvement in that it holds the quest and controllers, and charges them. If you have the Elite Strap with battery, it charges that also (by simply charging the headset, and charging the backup battery through that same connection)

It's fully wireless, but very finnicky.. the controllers don't always sit properly (especially if you have the velcro handstraps.. total pain, and the headset, I find I have to basically prop the back up so that the front (charging pins) are pushed downwards, otherwise it doesn't charge.

With that said, it works, it's convenient and nice to never have to use wires. I'm sure there are probably alternates. It was too pricey at $129 and still too pricey at $100, but it works and I'm happy I have it.
