I'm only going to ask because I thought about this randomly, but why would anybody want a wood toilet seat when it is more difficult to maintain and clean over time? When I have had wood toilet seat in the past, I can't use a lot of cleaners because it will strip the paint eventually. Plastic has never been an issue with that.
