Great deal on this wreath but there seems to be some discrepancy on whether it takes AA or D batteries. D would be too heavy and annoying on the front door. Im going to order it to find out for sure. if it's D batteries I'll just return it.

Based upon the pics the customers posted, looks definitely like they take D size. I used to have one years ago from Bethlehem Lights from QVC and they looked exactly like those boxes they show.
