There is a similar (smaller, missing the 10x inline connectors) kit at Harbor Freight for $9.99 [harborfreight.com]. It is also UL listed

Too many counterfeits on Amazon. Low voltage, maybe. High voltage, no way. Don't risk a fire to save a few bucks.

Every time a peppy wago deal comes up, which is often, I think the exact same thing. Just get them from somewhere like home depot, they have free shipping. Yeah, no assortment, a little more expensive.. but least you know they're genuine.

I love Wago lever nuts and have used them for years. They're easy to use and provide a safe, secure connection. However, there are now tons of knockoffs available online (Amazon and elsewhere) for WAY cheaper, and the ones I've seen are of equivalent quality and construction.
Have a link to any that are clear like the Wagos?

They say UL listed, but they don't have the certificate information available, so I skipped over those until they can produce legit certification info.

I'm confused about these "features comments".

3C's as far as I don't tell you price history with coupons, which is why this is a deal. Yes the price hasn't changed but the coupon is the deal...

Not sure how they can be counterfeit on Amazon when the seller is Peppy Products LLC unless I'm missing something obvious.

Amazon has known issues with suppliers in general. I cannot speak to this particular item; however, if you would like a quality alternative, DigiKey is a reputable electronics supplier. https://www.digikey.com/en/produc...ectors/305 Both the 221 and 222 LEVER-NUTS are available under the 'Series' selection. You can make your own tackle box with the correct connectors for the job.
Bought a few different ones last month. How can you tell if they're counterfeit?

Is Peppy Products LLC a known company? I have never heard of them before.

I don't think they're big but they claim to be an authorized reseller for WAGO, that's all they sell, they actually have a website that doesn't look scammy, the amazon WAGO product is listed under them as the manufacturer as they package it, the ones where they are the manufacturer probably have the item ratings reflective on them as a company as well, and lots of SD posts on WAGO have them as the seller, 100 positive from 979 ratings in the last year on Amazon (which kind of doesn't mean much honestly), they've been doing business a while, and I don't hear peeps complaining about peppy. I'd personally be confident buying from them though.

someone more knowledgeable than me can chime in but feels like those comments are made from people that don't know anything/read the post.

Here's one. [amazon.com] I know nothing about these in particular, haven't used them. I've never even used clear Wagos, just the old grey ones, which I never wished were clear.

There are plenty of knock-offs that don't pretend to be Wago products, from what I've seen. I've never heard of these being actually counterfeited, as I doubt it would be worthwhile to produce a decent enough fake. The companies that make competing products attempt to sell at low prices and high volume, not by violating trademarks. I think the chance of buying counterfeit merchandise online is greatly overblown here. Designer clothing, handbags, and watches are definitely counterfeited and passed off as genuine items, but for most products it isn't worth the effort considering the risks and rewards involved.
