Buy from Tire Rack. Install at Discount Tire.
They're owned by the same company now, but Tire Rack includes 2 year road hazard, full replacement rather than pro-rated. I've used it 4 times and it's relatively painless. Discount Tire's free road hazard is pro-rated, or you can buy certificates for full replacement.

I bought a set of Michelin tires from Costco. The wear was uneven but I had my tires rotated at least ever other oil change. They refused any discount or warranty blaming my alignment. I took my car to a car dealership to get it aligned. They said it was as good as it could be and was well within spec. I replaced the tires there. I've been through 3 sets from there and another shop and never another issue.

I like Costco for many things. Tires are not one of them.

Do you think Costco really needs to drive more people to the store? Have you seen the crowds? They put out a BF ad just because people expect it and that's all. They don't need to put out loss leaders like other stores do.

How about in store baked fruitcake? It used to be a tradition, but they cancelled "because of the pandemic"...Those were the best fruitcakes 56 Oz. for $14.95...I bought 10 one year and had some every day until they were available again the next year!!!
