They're owned by the same company now, but Tire Rack includes 2 year road hazard, full replacement rather than pro-rated. I've used it 4 times and it's relatively painless. Discount Tire's free road hazard is pro-rated, or you can buy certificates for full replacement.

Just saw Costco.com will have the era 100 rear speaker set for $369 (these are $250 each at BB). Sale starts on 11/2.
The physical catalog was in my mailbox (and I assume in the warehouse) a couple of days ago and the sales don't start until next week.
Their official policy [costco.com] is only to offer it for free to tires purchased there.
The only thing that Costco absolutely does not do is alignments.
"The Certificate would replace the damaged tire (or tires) due to irreparable road hazard. It does not cover tires on a pro rated basis that are only needing replacement due to the type of drivetrain"
That's from a DT employee.
Also from a DT employee on another thread [discounttire.com]:
We do recommended all four(4) tires be replaced at the same time for AWD/4WD vehicles if possible. The benefit to having the Certificate in these scenarios is rather than having to pay out of pocket for four(4) tires, the Certificate protection would cover the damaged tire.
The Certificate for Repair, Refund or Replacement is valid for 3 years or 3/32nds of tread depth and would replace the damaged tire (or tires) due to an irreparable road hazard or defect. It does not cover tires on a pro-rated/discounted basis that are only needing replacement due to the type of drivetrain. The Certificate is redeemed on a per tire basis.
Now if the local DT is going above and beyond the certs (which 4 are around the cost of a single tire, btw)
