Buy from Tire Rack. Install at Discount Tire.
They're owned by the same company now, but Tire Rack includes 2 year road hazard, full replacement rather than pro-rated. I've used it 4 times and it's relatively painless. Discount Tire's free road hazard is pro-rated, or you can buy certificates for full replacement.
4WD car, I had terrible service at Costco tire. Mainly for two reasons, 1, the 60k mile tires are over 50% wear after less than 2 yrs, 15kmile. 2. The one tire that was broken, warranty only covers 25% of that tire. The rest 3 has to replaced because of 4WD, but has no coverage because they were still usable. Discount tire would prorate the condition of the 3 and I don't have to pay 100%. Don't do tires at Costco, you will be very very disappointed.
Don't understand why these posts end up on the front page with a "Fire" emoji every year.
The physical catalog was in my mailbox (and I assume in the warehouse) a couple of days ago and the sales don't start until next week.

I just got some new tires for my 911. After accounting for the install price, it was cheaper to buy the road hazard from Discount Tire and buy it from them as well since they have free installation. I don't know if this is true for all situations, but it was true for every tire I considered.
Costco does too. But DT has more knowledgeable people about tires in general and they are super quick.

Nope, I've purchased plenty of tires from Costco and they refused to rotate the last set on a new vehicle. Took it to DT...
My Costco asks me if I bought the tires there when I go in for rotation, and I always have, but if I said no I wonder what they'd do - I bet they'd refuse (otherwise why ask?)

"The Certificate would replace the damaged tire (or tires) due to irreparable road hazard. It does not cover tires on a pro rated basis that are only needing replacement due to the type of drivetrain"
We do recommended all four(4) tires be replaced at the same time for AWD/4WD vehicles if possible. The benefit to having the Certificate in these scenarios is rather than having to pay out of pocket for four(4) tires, the Certificate protection would cover the damaged tire.
The Certificate for Repair, Refund or Replacement is valid for 3 years or 3/32nds of tread depth and would replace the damaged tire (or tires) due to an irreparable road hazard or defect. It does not cover tires on a pro-rated/discounted basis that are only needing replacement due to the type of drivetrain. The Certificate is redeemed on a per tire basis.
Now if the local DT is going above and beyond the certs (which 4 are around the cost of a single tire, btw)

Unless you've been waiting for that dual Delta Pro 3 to drop below $5000, all the other deals are trash. But they've given me a new purchase price of $2300 (lowest it has been was $2900. Was holding out for $2500) for a single one. Seems they're not selling as well as Ecoflow wants them to. Why it's always good to have healthy competition. I'm definitely holding out now. Thanks OP! Repd!
I don't know how you evaluate the value of that but 8kwh the output of my $400 inverter generator on half a gallon of gas. I know there are some situations where that's not an option, but it's tough to think about $4.5k on very limited use case.

Just saw Costco.com will have the era 100 rear speaker set for $369 (these are $250 each at BB). Sale starts on 11/2.

Their official policy [costco.com] is only to offer it for free to tires purchased there.
The only thing that Costco absolutely does not do is alignments.

That's from a DT employee.
Also from a DT employee on another thread [discounttire.com]:

My wife seems happy with the excess meat I give her.

I wish they'd do some gold bar samples.
Pick the first available time on Sunday. Viola. In and out 1.5 hr tops.
