IMO, this is a bit steep for the game. Sure, it's kind of a funny premise at first, but it's not really enough to carry it for long. Managing your cultists tends to be very manual and tedious. It probably gets better as you build up the skill tree, but keeping interest that long is sort of the problem. Maybe they tweaked the balance a bit since the last time I played, but around launch it was fun for a few hours and then got to be more like work.

I think it's much better now with local multiplayer that they added recently for PC. Not sure of update status on switch.

I agree before some of the most recent updates. They have really added and changed things to make it a much more engaging experience. I was so so when it came out, but it's currently a great game. That said, avoid it on the switch. End game farm and habitants make it lag so badly it's unplayable on switch, Xbox no problem

I credit the developers for sticking with the game this long in that case. Regardless of what I may think of a game, I always respect developers who are in it for the long haul.
