Why do they even put 512GB hard drives in laptops anymore. Especially in ones used for gaming. Other than that...this is a great deal. The 4050 will run absolutely any game out there. Maybe not on max graphics, but will definitely be playable at good fps. Screen is 100% srgb too. I have a Loq 3050 6gb model with the lower quality screen and it's even pretty good.

512? My laptop is not even using 100gb. My phone is not even using 60gb. There are maybe 50% or more consumers are like me.
AMD 8645HS CPU - Excellent single core performance, good AI, multi-core and iGPU performance.
16GB DDR5 RAM is easy to upgrade with an empty SODIMM.
Decent FHD screen with 144Hz refresh, 300 Nits brightness and 100% SRGB color.
RTX 4050 with 105W TDP is not power limited. Good FHD gaming framerates and DLSS.
Open SSD slot for future upgrades.
Good port selection with HDMI, USB-C 3.2 (PD & DP) and 3 USB-A.
Cons:
Would prefer RTX 4060 GPU to open up 1440p gaming.
Build quality feels cheap and creaky.
Heavy for 15.6" at 5.25 lbs.
Webcam is 720p potato quality.
No USB-C 4.0.
Middling battery life (6 hours)
If you want a competent FHD gaming laptop this one will get the job done. The RTX 4050 gets you improved framerates compared to integrated graphics, but at the cost of reduced battery life.
I think that casual gamers would be better off with a newer CPU and integrated graphics resulting in 12-15 hours of battery, and gamers who crave performance should pay $100-$150 more for an RTX 4060 or 4070 GPU as the 4050 will likely get left behind in the next generation of AAA games.
Great laptop for the price. Far better than the $650 MSI RTX 4050 laptop all around.
Shame it only has two video output ports, but that won't matter to most people.

I don't quite agree with this. As a comparison, I tested a few "old" games like WC3, LoL, CS on two different "newer CPU" laptops with integrated graphics (see below). While the games were playable, I would have preferred higher settings which would have dropped framerates. It seems, at least according to one site, the 4050 is better than the RX 6400 that I have on my current desktop - which plays the same games mentioned above at max settings at 60+fps.
The above laptops and their integrated GPUs would likely not provide a good experience with current/future games. As such, I'd say the 4050 is a good minimum for a casual gamer.

Last I checked, COD can take up over 200 GB of space by itself.
Just because you only use your PC for document storage, doesn't mean that everyone else does as well.

Tested laptop specs:
i7-1370p - 32GB RAM
core7-165u - 32GB RAM
