I was responding to someone that mentioned the price difference between this B4 and 75U75N, and that difference will soon be more than was said. Of course the B4 is better, but when another OLED isn't needed, the Hisense is a decent secondary TV, and darn good bang-for-your-buck at <$900.

The panels on U8's are great (I say that as a B2 owner too (great color saturation, and eye searing bright ess, with inky blacks) the processing hardware in them is where most issues will fall/lie

I don't know about current gen u7n but back when it was the u7h, the screen was nothing close compared directly to the u8h, not the same league of display then

Burn is still a concern for OLEDs. Don't want people getting the wrong idea.

QD-OLEDs deal with that issue much better but it's still an OLED end of the day

Just so you know, the Hisense U8 and Costco QM8 high-brightness miniled TVs both started failing after only 7 months of longterm burn-in usage on rtings.com. So that could perhaps be why they are not offering those models at Costco - with the 5-yr warranty included - the cost to Costco would probably be way too high on the U8 or QM8 and so they realize the TV would not be competitive.

Pause right at this second (4:41) of the video. Notice that ALL of the Hisense miniLED TVs have problems visible in test patterns. The U7H and U8HN BOTH have problems visible in real content. The TCL R745 (closest thing to a QM8) and R646 (close to a QM7) have problems visible in test patterns.

The durability of MiniLed TVs is definitely NOT high. I am thinking that the high brightness produces too much heat which causes early LED failure, or partial failures (excessive dimming).
