I tried this before. Works great to clone NVME drives that I tried. Fan is on all the time though, and cannot be disabled. Wish they would provide an option to adjust the fan speed. It does keep things cool with its aluninum chassis and fan. Build quaility is excellent and the unit feels premium and hefty. I even successfully used it as an OS drive running Windows and gaming off it (if I recall correctly). The rubber plug that keeps the NVME drive in place makes it easy to swap out drives.

I think this is about the lowest I found it in the past.

The premium for nvme 10Gbps is a bit absurd when dual sata docks have been a 3rd of this price for years now.
