I have this. It's pretty terrible. The pressure it gets is laughable. About the only thing it's good for is washing the car, and even that is debatable.

The battery probably isn't worth the $50 either considering it's only a 2Ah

I respectfully disagree. It's not a power washer and doesn't claim to be. It's a power cleaner, and works excellent for that. I use it all the time to clean the eaves on my house, clean off my bike after a muddy ride, wash my car, and anything else where lugging a full-size power washer isn't feasible or necessary.

Not to mention the bottle connection, which means I don't have to have a hose to use it, which is great for camping with my bike.

Just like any other tool, when you use it for things it's not meant for, it doesn't work super well. You wouldn't say a drill is terrible for pounding nails (I'd hope).

Worth it just for the battery!

Have the 18v version. From everything I watched the 40v battery does nothing to increase power. But this is a great deal for a battery and device. I wish the 18v bare tool was this price.

That being said the device is definitely more powerful than a garden hose. Needed to clean a back patio at my condo. Tried a garden hose on the most aggressive nozzle setting, did nothing (condo has 60psi on outside spigot) . Tried bleach with a hard bristle scrub brush, did nothing. The 18v washer cleaned the concrete paver patio very well. Took a long time, got about 15mins with a 4ah battery, so it took 3 rounds .

This is a very niche device. If you can run an electrical cord and have a place to store something bigger I'd recommend plug in pressure device. But anyone who says a garden hose has more or equal pressure is wrong.

Lastly when you finish using this , disconnect the water supply, and hold the trigger until not a drop of water comes out. Then shake the washer and pull the trigger again, more water will drip out. Try to get every last drop of water out.
Same situation for me, already have the 18v version but very tempted to get this just for the battery, but reviews on the 2A battery alone are not good. I've also read on a previous SD post that you can use a pressure washer cleaner/lube to keep the internals from rusting.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank sugarski

I have this unit and unlike what I read on some of these reviews it does a good job. True it isn't as powerful as a gas pressure washer but is fine for quick clean jobs on the drive\sidewalk and cleaning the porch and patio furniture.
Where it really excels is I use it at the lake to clean the boat prior to taking it out of the water. You just drop the hose in the lake and it draws from it. I also agree, it is worth it for the battery alone.

I have the 18v version. I use it to flush out bird turd on my windshield. I use to clean up my bicycle chain and the sink strainer. It is good for small jobs. I understand all this!

I am giving the 18v to my aunt.

Now Ryobi had intro me to the 40v system. Oh no.

Definitely worth it. The battery sells for $120. I only have 5ah and 6ah batteries, having a lighter one for quick jobs is great. And the pressure washer will be fine for washing my car, where my full size one can be a bit of a pain in the ass.
Stacks with military discount too, I'm feeling good about dropping $45 on this.
This is a better value. It's like getting a 4 ah for $20

Thanks and repped. This doesn't have great reviews but my main use will be winter rinsing of my car and it'll be good enough. Where I live I don't have outside garden hose access once the weather goes below freezing so this will save me some trips to the car wash.

Edit: It looks like most of the bad reviews are for weak power, a few on DOA batteries. I watched some Youtube reviews to see what it actually does and it looks to be good enough for my purposes. The portability is what this tool is really strong at.

Is the price showing up at checkout in brick and mortar stores? Shows $129 on the site for me.

LOL I have a bunch of 18v batteries and wish this one ran on 18v. I have no 40v tools yet so this will be my first, hoping I'm not going to get hooked into buying more Embarrassment

I've been waiting for a deal on the 18 volt version.
Holding this by hand with a 40 volt battery seems so uncomfortable and it has the same pressure and volume as the 18 volt 600 PSI version.
