I have this. It's pretty terrible. The pressure it gets is laughable. About the only thing it's good for is washing the car, and even that is debatable.

The battery probably isn't worth the $50 either considering it's only a 2Ah

I respectfully disagree. It's not a power washer and doesn't claim to be. It's a power cleaner, and works excellent for that. I use it all the time to clean the eaves on my house, clean off my bike after a muddy ride, wash my car, and anything else where lugging a full-size power washer isn't feasible or necessary.

Not to mention the bottle connection, which means I don't have to have a hose to use it, which is great for camping with my bike.

Just like any other tool, when you use it for things it's not meant for, it doesn't work super well. You wouldn't say a drill is terrible for pounding nails (I'd hope).

My local HD today had the 18v tool only version for $30 on the shelf. Regular $50.
18v has 2 models. The 320psi and the 600psi. Are you sure you got the 18v 600psi model?

Mine does too but the one reduced is 320psi $30 from $50. The 320 psi is kinda useless. Might as well use a garden hose with a good nozzle.

I just picked up 2 of them and both have bad batteries. The charger is flickering btw red/green, which indicates an error.
Great. Thanks for the info

Mine broke in less than a year of occasional use cleaning dog poop off the deck. Bought another one. Also broke. Probably wouldn't get another tbh quite disappointed with durability and quality control.

Okay for the price, especially if you're already into Ryobi's 40V line and could use a small, light battery. This unit will accept batteries as big as my 7.5ah snow blower batteries for extended use, too

The problem with this isn't the pressure, which is adequate for cleaning concrete sidewalks, it's the low volume/flow of water it puts out. It can do pressure washer things and is convenient for small jobs, but you'll likely want a real pressure washer for bigger jobs, unless you really need an excuse to stay busy outside for a while. It just can't cover as large of an area at a time.

I used it for spot cleaning my asphalt driveway before resealing it. It worked okay with the narrow-pattern 15 degree nozzle but I used a regular hose and multifunction wand for areas that weren't gunky or oily because I wanted to finish before winter. And now I've got a light battery to use with my string trimmer or blower when I don't need much run time. At $50 you mind find it's worth it for the battery alone.

Weren't these still under warranty, or did Ryobi deny your warranty claim?

Based on this thread, it doesn't seem like many of these come with functional batteries. The warranty process is also a pita and requires 3 different serial numbers - One for the washer, one for the charger and one for the battery. Once it's submitted, they email a prepaid FedEx label you use to return the old battery.
