I have this. It's pretty terrible. The pressure it gets is laughable. About the only thing it's good for is washing the car, and even that is debatable.

The battery probably isn't worth the $50 either considering it's only a 2Ah

I respectfully disagree. It's not a power washer and doesn't claim to be. It's a power cleaner, and works excellent for that. I use it all the time to clean the eaves on my house, clean off my bike after a muddy ride, wash my car, and anything else where lugging a full-size power washer isn't feasible or necessary.

Not to mention the bottle connection, which means I don't have to have a hose to use it, which is great for camping with my bike.

Just like any other tool, when you use it for things it's not meant for, it doesn't work super well. You wouldn't say a drill is terrible for pounding nails (I'd hope).

Picked one up in store. The first thing when I got home is to test the battery. First it showed error (flickering between red and green) just like some mentioned earlier. But I removed the battery and, reinstalled it again, and it's charging normally. I hope it's just the battery was not seated properly in the first time.

Dead battery here too. Can't schedule $1.99 delivery anymore, at all.

Going to look up the warranty process now..

Or can I buy one at HD and just swap and return the one I purchased?

I charge the battery for 3 hours, nothing! It is beyond dead!

I am going to return it tomorrow.

Man this 40v battery is a super duper heavy weight. I will just go with the 18v system.

Look out…all these bad battery returns are going to end up being sold on toolsdirect eBay store (Home Depot's return liquidator). Crazy how many people getting bad batteries in just this thread.

Mine broke in less than a year of occasional use cleaning dog poop off the deck. Bought another one. Also broke. Probably wouldn't get another tbh quite disappointed with durability and quality control.
Items like these and the Ryobi air pumps deserve a extended warranty

18v has 2 models. The 320psi and the 600psi. Are you sure you got the 18v 600psi model?
Yeah they had the 40v 600 psi for 50 and the 18v for $30

I'd prefer to have the 18v for weight, but my local store has one of these left at the sale price. It'll replace my 320 psi 18v model which worked just fine for what it was.

Just picked mine up and tested it....the battery is a dud. Worth it, but hopefully I can get a warranty on the battery.

May want to open the gift on and check battery. Got one today and battery is no good
Thanks for the info. I charged up both mine because of your reply. They both started at 1 bar charging(which I don't like!), but did fully charge. Was going to gift one but now I'll sell off the tools and risk keeping both the batteries.

Got 1, battery charged fine. However I have a rapid charger set up from the lawnmower, I did not try with the included charger.

Had a 40v battery that was dead one time. Problem was it reached such a low charge when it was placed on the charger the charger detected it as a bad battery. The voltage dropped to something like 32 volts. Had to open it up and use another 40v battery to charge it up to something like 34-35 volts, then when I put it on the charger it worked normally. Has been working fine ever since.

If I had to take a guess that's what is wrong with all these batteries.
