eBay has 30 days return and 2 years warranty. Dyson is final sale and 6 months warranty.

The error is mainly caused by dust. You just need to clean a little.

Have 3. For just a fan you can do far better for 188. You're buying this cause you want a safe space heater for a single room. It's not hot to the touch (if it falls over it turns off but no way its burning the carpet on its side you can pick it right up). We had 2 in our kids rooms when they were small and you wanted to room temp a little hotter than how cold we had house at night. Now I use one in my office as I work from home and want it hotter but let the rest of the house remain cold. At low fan speed its almost silent. In the summer it doubles as a fan just fine but its not going to blow you away. Oscillates, remote is nice, I've had to clean one of mine once to get it working fine but they seem to be tanks. I have 3 refurbs going for many years now. We run one in the bedroom now every night at medium high speed just to move air and found the sound soothing. It's a great white noise machine (#snores =)

Best price on this in awhile. I got a refurb like this nine years ago. Still works great. Surprisingly good heating, but the big advantage is being able to make it almost silent if you lower the fan speed.

I bought a similar dyson refub. fan months ago through ebay via dyson. the fan base would make a whining noise when rotating, so I had to return, be aware

Dyson is the worst company treat refurbished products, I've bought many and returned/replaced many, most of them are heavy scratches and filthy internals.

I just wish there's a good fan, heater, air purifier combo. Apparently all of them on the market including Dyson are trash at cleaning air.
