This is a 30 inch rod. Much shorter than you standard 6 ft+ rods.

I have 2 of these and they are perfect for little kids, and it's fun off the dock.

This is a full fiberglass rod. It's extremely strong and flexible. I'd get the Dock Demon all day. It's my go to rod that lives in my car.

There's another edition of this called the "deluxe" that has a cork handle. That's my favorite.

Oh, change out the line on it when you get it. Every one that I've gotten the line is old and with pretty bad memory.
