The manufacturer's warranty for this TV is one year, pretty standard for most TV's these days.

The seller is an authorized dealer for Sony TV's, so the full warranty will be applicable.

I just picked up a 75" from Microcenter (who doesn't even sell Sony TVs)... They had it priced at $749 so I took a flier. I haven't even unboxed it yet. I don't know why they had it, but it was in new packaging. Anyone here have one? I was in the market for an OLED, but if this is a strong performer I may just keep it.

I have the 55 inch and love it. Paid much more for it, about $1100. I bought it 6 months ago and use it in a bright room and the image is fantastic. However, I still blame myself for not purchasing an OLED tv. I love this tv but everyone says OLEDs are in a different championship.

I have the 2020 version of this TV and it has been pretty great. There was some teething issues with the wireless but subsequent firmware updates took care of that.

Overall a rock solid TV.

Will this TV still work if I never let it connect to the internet?

I'm looking at a TV for bringing outdoors (but not leave outdoors) so I can watch while we spend time in our outdoor space. Any thoughts on this TV in a high sun area?

Nowadays ONE year is the standard warranty for TVs.
Costco doubles TV warranties and it depends on which credit card you use. They might add a few years.

I bought a Sony OLED and it's great for viewing movies and high def streaming in a dim or dark room. Perfect even. But during the daytime it just doesn't get bright enough to overcome a few windows without using some blackout shades. Especially since it purposely dims the panel to prevent burn in if it detects a few minutes of static images (for example sports scores.) Love the TV still. I would buy miniLED next though for this particular room. Just make sure you understand the strengths and weaknesses of OLED and your use case.

oleds are overhyped, not worth the premium and are prone to burn in. in my book, led is still the way. the picture can be like 98% as good
.lol.

I am looking for a 75 NON oled... mini-LED FTW and I'm leaning for the TCL QM8 (latest version) or Hisense U8N......

Have had this exact TV for almost two years. Picture quality is excellent and super bright for rooms with windows if that is an issue for you. I have a 65" LG C2 OLED and the only time I miss the LG is when I am watching a 720P signal on YouTube TV like sports. The LG smoothes out the picture much better. Then again it could be because it's a 65" vs 75". Otherwise, if I am watching Netflix or something with a high-quality broadcast I can't tell the difference and am super happy with the picture quality.

For $1,200 you can't beat it. Excellent price.

Did you get X90L 75" from microcenter?

please also check few YouTube reviews and get a second opinon. QM8 is better performer on measurable values brightness, number of zones etc. The Sony algorithm is much better than TCL and Hisense, and its giving an edge in everyday watching experience.
