I've been planning to get this model for a while now so the price-drop made it an easy yes for me. Pretty complete setup for less than $900 after adding the diverter plates, kick ash basket and cover. Both the Joe and Egg would have easily been more than double that price.
I have this,it's my first Kamado style grill so I can't compare to BGE or others. But I can say that Grilla Grilla makes some great products(I also have their Silverbac Pellet Smoker) and I have been extremely happy with this grill.
Kamado in of itself has been a learning curve, but it's been a blast and this grill has handled everything I've thrown at it.

Ugh you're going to make me buy. I wanted something smaller since i already have a smoker and would like something to do burgers but at this price it's almost why bother paying half as much for something way less functional
I have always (30yrs, every weekend) used weber kettles, then Broil King and Akorn kamados. Never wanted the heavy fragile porcelain versions, but this comes at a perfect time and price so here goes... Hopefully this works as well as the metal ones and can handle being outside at least twice as well.
