For those who care about the Blood Oxygen sensor, it's disabled on this model.
All models ending in W/A have the sensor disabled. Model numbers ending in LL/A still have those enabled.

Are these new enough that I could still activate AppleCare on them? I assume it doesn't work with open box from a non Apple retailer but curious. Target keeps pushing back the ship date for the AWU I ordered first day of Circle Week and it might be nice to just get the watch already

Luck of the draw with BBY used. I've got stuff which people have not even activated which was returned/traded-in. BBY will not sell as new if box is open. So pretty much roll of dice. Chances are that these might be out of warranty since it was launched in Sep 2023.

If I could trade in my 7 and get the same $100 offer for towards the new ultra 2, but for an open box one, I would do this deal in a heart beat. $408 would be a great deal.

When I was looking at it on the Best Buy app it gave an option to also purchase 2 years of AppleCare+ for $99. But that was only for the ones listed in "Excellent" condition so I'm guessing those are literally just open box watches that have never been used/activated.

Thank you, but it says there is a $45 restocking fee rt ? It doesn't clearly say it's not applicable on open box items. It's a bit confusing

In which case they would still have the o2 sensor.

I love me some Best Buy open box but this was my first go with an open box wearable. Definitely had some crust on the back of the watch and watch band.
