Not a good deal. Battery is 150+ and the track and clamps are 150ish. I got saw with case for like 260 on woot a while ago

It comes with the case. If you have a better deal, post it. Saying it's not a good deal, fine, but it's below retail. I'm not the OP.

the battery is $100 not $150 and some people already have batteries. in regards to the track, a lot of people are using the festool track with the dewalt saw because they are much better

DeWalt uses proprietary track (you can cut on either side). I don't think there are any compatible aftermarket tracks currently available.

Many of the reviews I have seen are not that favorable. I don't think they necessarily argue it is a bad tool, just not up with the competition. Of course, if you need a cordless track saw and tied to the platform then, it's your only option.

I was at this this decision point about a year and a half ago and ended up going with the Milwaukee, getting me into the M18 platform. In my case, I was already into M12 as well as DeWalt, so it was a bit of a softer blow because several of the M18 chargers also charge M12.

I can't really comment on the price of this deal since I haven't been tracking the prices. However, based on what premium-brand cordless track saws sell for, it seems decent enough.

Decent deal if you need it right now, otherwise I would wait a bit to see if the bundle deals with either a battery or a track come down into the 400s. There have been tool only deals for this saw or the Milwaukee for under 300.

For what it's worth, I had this saw but sold it because the blade change mechanism was such a pain. The main thing it has going for it is the power. It also works fine on other brand tracks and there are powertec tracks that are the same as the dewalt style but cheaper.
