It's IPS too. None of that toxic VA CCFL nonsense. CCFLs create a lot of dirty energy. It isn't good to be near them while operating and then if it ever fails its a hazardous waste situation. Oh and the contrast is lousy too.

In for two. Hopefully they don't suck. I've been wanting to upgrade my work monitors at home from 24inch 2K to 27inch 4Ks. These should work out nicely!

I got one August 2023 after starting a WFH job and wanting a headless PC gaming setup with NVIDIA Shield. I ended up basically paying full price for it because of a snafu with Best Buy's open box. As my first 4K anything I have to say it looks awesome and it feels huge on the desk next to my 24" work issued Samsung. The colors look really vivid and there's virtually no tearing or lag even with the few times I played F1 or Forza. It's so nice, I've been considering getting another one so I could do dual monitors with Flight Simulator. So I think I may just pick this up!

Edit just to add I have my 24 and this 28 on the HUANUO dual monitor floating VESA mount which is surprisingly solid. I'm probably going to end up getting another one with a single arm so I can have three monitors.

28"?! This is the "seven minute abs" of the monitor world. And it goes to 11.

Wish I'd seen this before replacing my 27" last week...with a 1440p Dell for $10 more than this.

Depends on what you are doing. Competitive games then 1080p all day. If you play console or use it for work then the 4K would be slightly better.
