I'm 4 for 4 TM24 batteries. Must be a regional thing.

My original 18V EZ Clean started leaking rusty and greasy water this summer. It was purchased in 2022, manufactured October 31, 2021 and the Ryobi website insists it's out of warranty based on its manufacturing date (even though it hadn't been 3 years since either date).

If you think that it's very weak, it's possible your washer is in mode 1 or 2. Switch it to 3 and try

It should spray hard enough to sting the skin. At least that's how hard my 18V 600 psi ones sprayed.

If these batteries are going dead in 2-3 years, wouldn't the replacement batteries do the same? Even at $50, I would hope that it lasts longer than 2-3 years. My 18v batteries have lasted more than 5 years.

Found four of these at the Jasper, GA store last night. I bought one. I haven't opened it yet so I can't comment on battery condition.

I did see that, but 2x the price unfortunately.
I used to work for Home Depot… you can ask the store manager if they would price match the 18v to the 40v. Stores have an account of "discount" money they can use to help make a sale. Just be nice and ask if they can do the 18v for the 40 because you're not happy with the 40 and are probably just going to return it but would really like the washer at the 40v price

Chatted with HD and the store won't replace the battery unless I return the whole kit for their kit. Oh yeah that's what I need...another dead battery. On hold with Ryobi at the moment.

I picked one up yesterday at Bowie, MD and the battery was fine. The washer is more powerful than the 40v 600psi kobalt I got on a deal a couple years back and paired with all of the ezclean attachments that were/still are on clearance from last week this thing is a steal.
If your local store says "limited stock" it usually means 1 is left so it is definitely worth a trip to find out.
Would you mind linking the attachments on sale? I can't find any on sale

Got the last one at mine. Was a used return when i opened it. Battery was dead but luckily i was able to register the tool and warranty process was fairly seamless. Will see how it goes.

I just got off the phone with Ryobi and a new battery is on its way. Call 800-525-2579, the warranty dept. The number HD gave me was like parts support or something...which I waited for 40 mins to find that out. Warranty line took less than 10 min and offered me the option for a call back. Less than 10 min later I got a call back. Hope this helps somebody.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank mcccccrazy

Also, you can just email [email protected] and they'll send you a new battery. I've always dealt with them that way. Got 2 free replacement mowers in the past as well.

Very helpful. Thanks!! Only waited about 5 minutes for someone. I called this number and dialed 3 on the first selection options then I believe option 5 after for product registration. They registered all of my full products, had me test each battery, then got me an order for all the defective batteries I had and told me to just recycle the ones I have that are dead. Didn't even have to send them anything
