Absolutely worth it to pay the 180 bucks for installation! I had just mine installed. The guy was a super pro, did the job in less than 45 minutes. There is just too much where you don't know the details and these guys do it with closed eyes. I also don't want to deal with recycling the old unit. I would say that was one the best 180 buck (plus 20 tip) I have spent.
