If you have no brand preference, this is a pretty good deal especially since this will be getting the option to Dirac's subwoofer integration/correction(DLBC) soon!

https://www.dirac.com/online-stor...o-tx-rz50/

BTW if 9 channels is all you need and don't need/use pre outs, coupon works on the 7100($639) which are the only real differences.

Do we know if Dirac subwoofer integration will be included or require an additional purchased license?

DLBC is almost always a purchase option.

Dirac recently got rid of the single(helpful here) option, it's just multiple/unlimited subwoofers integration/correction for $299 now.

The Dirac page says "Sign up now to get notified when licenses are available for purchase". Given that a license is $300+ I'm not expecting to get it for free.

Note the 7100 will not have THX features.

It will. About $349 for a multi sub license, down from $499 when it launched in 2023 for Denon / Marantz stuff.

If you mean THXâ„¢Selectâ„¢ Certified, they both are.
Here is a comparison for those interested.

Yes, but you'll mostly listen to things in stereo and the heat output is tolerable. I wouldn't put it in an TV cabinet.

Thanks OP!
For those that got the x3800 (myself included) - is this a better receiver (possibly because Dirac is included and has more power out put)?
