that said, that's still a silly good price for a tv of that size...would be tempted if tv wouldn't be too close to my couch for this thing.

Edit: nevermind its not HDMI 2.1 and I don't think it will run 4K 120hz....maybe at 4:2:0 color.

Edit: HDMI port #1 supports upto 144Hz (pc gaming) and can do 1080p@240Hz.

Lack of local dimming on a VA panel is okay and not TOO big of a deal for me because contrast is still 8000:1
Bad viewing angles is a problem for any VA panel especially at this size. The other 2 options are IPS and OLED panels. IPS has terrible contrast and is out of the question for a tv for me. OLED panel at 98 inches would make this tv 10x more expensive.
I won't be buying as it doesn't fit my space but I think it's a great deal.
