Valid through 11/30/2024. Shipping is free on all orders (delivery is estimated within 7 business days after shipping).

Note: Your Redemption Bonus will vary from 10% to 50% depending on the type of Chase card you have. Your credit card will be charged the full remaining dollar amount over your points redemption; for example, if you choose to buy Apple merchandise at $120 at $1.50 redemption value (50% bonus), and you use 4,000 points ($40 worth of points w/ 50% bonus = $60), your credit card would be billed for the remaining $60.

I guess returns are not accepted for these purchases unless there is some defect/ damage. Something to keep in mind. I learnt it the hard way
Points go 50% further, it's not 50% off. Here's an example of a $100 item:
10,000 points = $100
what amount of points (define as X) * 150% = 10,000?
1.5X = 10,000 --> X = 10,000/1.5 = 6,667
with 50% bonus, $100 = 6,667 points, a savings of 3,333 points (10,000 - 6,667)
3,333/10,000 = 33%, or a 33% savings
said another way:
normally $1 = 100 points, but with the 50% further $1 = 100/1.5 = 66 points
Old Price = 100 Points
New Price = 66 Points
Change = (New price - Old price) / Old Price = (66 - 100) / 100 = -33/100 = -33%
It's only when you have the Chase Reserve card when you received the 50% discount. Otherwise, if you have the "Preferred", you'll only received 20% discount instead of 25% as stated above!

Not a matter of ego, it's a matter of understanding the value of your points and where that value lies. If you travel even a little bit, these points are best saved for use with travel partners. And if you don't travel there are better cards to use. Of course it's someone's "choice" on what to spend their money on. Someone can CHOOSE to spend $5 on a stick of gum if they want, that doesn't make it a good decision, and slickdealers would be remiss to say that it is. It's just not. That's not the mission of this site.
At the end of the day, I remain unconvinced that you even understand the value of these points, much less implement them efficiently. Even to your actual example, you're bragging about a 1.5X pt per dollar spent that you then redeem with a 1.25% multiplier by shifting it to the Preferred. That's 1.875 points per dollar in value. The Citi Double Cash card will literally give you a straight 2X back IN CASH to spend on whatever you want, with no limit. On a FREE CARD! The Custom Cash card will give you 5X back on your first $500 for ANY single category. On a FREE CARD! You are falling for a gimmick because you feel like you got a free iphone or ipad, but you could have had literal cash back in excess of what those items are worth, without paying a dime for the credit card that provides it.
It's not a matter of whether you will recoup your $95, it's a matter of whether you would have done even better with a different card combination. Read that sentence again, because it's the key to this whole situation. In this scenario, specifically that you describe, a user would have gotten a better result from a FREE card! This will do better for non-travelers or low-travelers in the long run. It's a DUMB approach if you don't travel, you HAVE to get better multipliers for it to make sense.
Dude wrote a whole freaking essay when the Sapphire reserve is basically a free card also with alot more other perks lol
Order is stuck in limbo. Ordered 16 pro 10/29, shipped FedEx 10/30, was supposed to be delivered 11/1 but it never made it to my city to be out for delivery. Hasn't made any updates since then. I did order a case for the phone too which is making its way to me, so I'll have a case but no phone?
When trying to check out on the Ultimate Rewards, I'm met with a pop up that just says:
"We were unable to complete your order.
Return to Cart
Error Code: B28374"
I got to place order at first and got cancelled in 24 hrs. Tried placing again the next day and now I get this error. Spoke with 4 reps and no resolution; escalation ticket was created. it's been 1 week no resolution.
Anybody else have this error or know why this is happening?
100% to all of that!
I just got 3 cents per point via transferring the points to Hyatt.
And >10 cents per point with a business class airfare redemption.
If you're not into travel, then collecting Chase points is, indeed, pretty dumb... there's just no mincing words on it, particularly when -- as shhaggy rightly noted -- there are several cards that'll give you straight 2% cashback or more!
Damn you certainly don't know how to at least harvest 5% points from several free chase cards and then convert them to the CSR. Smh

experiencing the same here. I was able to successfully make purchase earlier this month, but only encountering when trying to do another buy.

Was this your first time ordering?
Yeah, still do not know why. Chase finally got back with the escalation ticket and said its known issue and they working on it but no ECD when it will be fixed, which sucks because theres only like 17 more days until promo is over. I am basically stuck at the moment and can't do anything.
I did not. But the CS is way better than people make it seem. The rep I spoke to basically alluded to the phone being stolen while it was at one of the shipping hubs. They offered a replacement or refund of points. Easy peasy.

Ok cool cause I have 2 pro maxes on their way via ups. Both just left the Jacksonville facility and are schedule to be delivered tomorrow. I'm going to have come home from work during their delivery window just make sure the actual phones show up.
Good shipping, ordered on Thursday evening and set to arrive tomorrow on Wednesday. Certainly beats the horror stories from the past of people waiting many weeks

did you order another or took the points ?
I just got the points back today, its not a "refund" on my account, but they basically just deleted the transaction so the deduction for the phone isn't there anymore, so my points are restored.
I wanted the points in case I changed my mind, and I'm glad I did because I'm going to get a lower spec one this time around to save some points.
Hello, where can I get discount apple gc? And can I use apple gc and some points to get a phone?
My Chase Freedom card has 900 pts / $10 Apple Giftcard redemption. It might be useful for those who have some Apple Giftcard balance to combine at Apple.com. One can also do trade in at apple.com using Apple gift cards (combined with a credit card if needed).
